Anna Bao is an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented professional who is driven by creating a positive impact using innovative frameworks that align incentives. Bao studied Biomedical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biomedical Engineering and Business from Cornell University. As the founder of Kleido, Bao directs learning experiences that guide high school students while exposing them to young professionals with similar interests. She aims to solve the problem of career choice by allowing students to experience the kind of professions they may aspire to. Before Kleido, Bao worked as a Product Manager for StemExpress and a Corporate Extern with Marrone Bio Innovations. She is also a former Fellow with Transcend Network and Day One, where she developed and fostered new ideas for startups. Bao's expertise is in synthetic biology, secondary education, and supply chain logistics. Her passion for food anthropology and sociology is also worth mentioning.
