Dilara Kanca is a seasoned investor and third-generation family business leader with a keen interest in sustainable food systems, impact investing, and climate action. With an MBA from Yale University and a BS in Science and Technology from Sabanci University and The Hong Kong University, Kanca has had extensive experience in investment banking, impact investing, and entrepreneurship. As a former associate at Barclays Investment Bank, she developed her skills in investment banking, while as an impact investing fellow at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, she developed expertise in socially responsible investing. Kanca also served as a strategy and business development specialist at KANCA FORGING and as a product supply intern at Procter & Gamble.
Kanca has also been an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist, co-founding Kanca Ventures and serving as a partner there. Her experience as an impact fund lead at Yale School of Management provided her with in-depth knowledge of driving social and environmental impact through investing. She also worked as an MBA associate at Helios Capital, a leading private equity firm in Turkey, where she focused on transaction execution, business development, and portfolio management. Kanca was also a data scientist for her graduation project at Sabanci University and a psychology student research assistant in the same institution.
