Dan LaCivita is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the digital space. Play is transforming the way teams create mobile products by empowering them to design and build their products in real time. Prior to Play, Dan was the CEO of award-winning agency Firstborn, where he led teams to create powerful digital products and experiences for major clients, including PepsiCo, L’Oréal, and Adidas. Dan is also a notable commentator and speaker, having written for Fast Company, Forbes, and Advertising Age, and spoken at conferences such as 99U and FITC. Notably, Dan was named to the 4A’s “100 People Who Make Advertising Great” list and Direct Marketing News’ “40 Under 40” list. Away from work, Dan enjoys participating in endurance events and practicing close-up magic. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two sons.
