Judy Murphy is a renowned nurse executive and health IT leader who has made significant contributions to the healthcare industry. With over 25 years of experience in health informatics, she has held several leadership positions, including Chief Nursing Officer at IBM Healthcare, Director at the Office of Clinical Quality and Safety at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and Deputy National Coordinator for Programs and Policy at ONC. She played a pivotal role in ONC's efforts to promote health information technology adoption, improve care, and empower consumers to use health IT for their benefit. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the American College of Medical Informatics and received several awards, including the HIMSS 2018 Most Influential Women in Health IT and the HIMSS 2014 Federal Health IT Leadership Award.
