Panamanian cultural manager and creative writer Laura Diaz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Louisville. She is a versatile professional with experience in journalism, audiovisual, digital marketing, event organization, and crowdfunding advising. Diaz founded Antídoto, a triple-impact entrepreneurship initiative that promotes local talent with art products influenced by the written word, particularly poetry. She led a successful crowdfunding campaign for Antídoto, which surpassed the goal with 147 backers from different countries.

Diaz is the recipient of several awards, including Seedstars Panama, Trama by Ciudad del Saber & the PNUD, Fondo Emprende Panamá by AMPYME & CENPROMYPE, and Voces Vitales's Mentorship Program for Entrepreneurs and Vital Entrepreneur. She was nominated by Diario La Prensa as a successful youth and has been interviewed by more than 30 media outlets, including for her contribution to the anthology "¡BASTA! Mujeres contra la violencia de género" and her poetry book, "26 lágrimas de luz." She is a mentor, speaker, and alumna of multiple programs, such as Teach for All, Global Young Leadership Conference, and Global Leadership Program.

In Panama, Diaz is known for mounting the local version of the "Before I Die" wall and curating "Lenguaje Creativo" and "60s pitch" segments for CreativeMornings/PTY. She is currently a member of Global Shapers and Axxion, seeking to improve the community's quality of life through culture.
