Nathan Faggian is an experienced leader with a strong background in machine learning and productionisation. He has worked in diverse industries such as health, retail, finance, government, and technology. Faggian studied at Monash University, where he earned a PhD and Honors in Computer Vision and Digital Systems, respectively. He has held several positions at Google, such as Head of Cloud AI Industry Solutions Services (JAPAC), Practice Lead AI & ML (JAPAC), and Cloud AI Engineer, AI Services. Faggian has also worked at the Bureau of Meteorology as Section Head Model Build Team and Bushfire Predictive Services Manager, and at Microsoft as a Data Scientist. Additionally, he has been a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a Visiting Research Scientist at the Neuroscience Research Institute. Faggian is known for his ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
