William Woodford is a materials science and engineering entrepreneur with a strong focus on sustainable energy. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering and later earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also in Materials Science and Engineering. Throughout his career, Woodford has held various positions at several tech companies, including 24M Technologies and Form Energy, Inc., which he co-founded and where he is currently the Chief Technology Officer. Woodford's expertise in advanced research and development has earned him several academic and professional accolades. He is a former Postdoctoral Associate at MIT and Harvard University and an undergraduate research assistant at Cornell University, Drexel University, and DuPont.
