Robin Dechant is a co-founder at Kwest, a company that aims to empower employees to build a better future. He started his career as an intern in AIESEC's development traineeship, leading him to work as a working student in marketing at Siemens and later working as an intern in consulting at Homburg & Partner. He also worked at ZF Friedrichshafen as an intern in M&A, which served as a stepping stone for his next role as a working student in online marketing at di.natives AG. Additionally, he worked as a freelance business advisor at PearlScout Business Advisory before becoming an ambassador at TransferWise.

Robin's passion for software, B2B marketplaces and building communities led him to become a Founder of the Future of Manufacturing Community, where he actively helps early-stage entrepreneurs where he can. He also worked as an associate at Point Nine Capital and invested in and worked with companies such as Laserhub (DE), Metalshub (DE), Workerbase (DE), Loom (US), Mavenoid (SWE), Preply (UKR), Container xChange (DE), and Tradelink (DE). Robin holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, wherein he spent a semester abroad in the University of Cape Town, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where he also spent a semester abroad in Lund University.

Besides his work at Kwest and his passion for building communities and helping early-stage entrepreneurs, Robin shares his thoughts on Medium and writes a newsletter about The Future of Manufacturing. He was also a former Fellow-Advanced Manufacturing and Production Platform at the World Economic Forum.
