Randy Marsden is a versatile engineer, entrepreneur, and special projects manager with a keen interest in computer-human interface solutions, assistive technology, and infection prevention. With a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta, Randy has served as a Text Input Special Projects Manager and iOS Keyboard Manager at Apple Inc., where he focused on improving text input on Apple platforms and led health-related projects like the Exposure Notifications project aimed at fighting COVID-19. Prior to Apple, Randy co-founded five companies and successfully commercialized over 12 different hardware and software products, including onscreen keyboards for Windows and Mac, Swype, a head-tracking camera, an aseptic keyboard called Cleankeys, and his latest endeavor, DRYFT (natural typing for touch screens). Randy's expertise and experience in specialized computer-human interface solutions have made him an industry leader and an authority in the field of assistive technology and infection prevention.
