Mary Sapountzis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in areas spanning data analytics, operations research, customer success, and technical account management. With a solid educational background, including a degree in Mathematics and German from South Dakota State University, and an MS in Operations Research and Statistics from Oregon State University, Mary has built a distinguished career working with various organizations across industries.
At Atlassian, Mary currently serves as Customer Success Platform Analytics Team Manager, overseeing the team's performance and operations. Her previous roles at Chartio include Senior Director and Head of Customer Success, Manager for SMBs, and Enterprise Technical Account Manager. Additionally, Mary held other customer success-related positions at Fourleaf Networks Inc.
Before her work in customer success, Mary honed her skills in data analytics and consulting at talus solutions and KPMG Peat Marwick, respectively. Notably, she served as the Senior Consultant for AADT (Airport Analysis and Decision Technologies) at American Airlines Decision Technologies/Sabre Holdings.
