Eliot Cohen is an accomplished scholar and practitioner in the field of international affairs. Having studied ROTC at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he pursued a Ph.D. in Government and a BA in Government at Harvard University. He also taught at Harvard University before joining The Johns Hopkins University - Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) as a Professor and Dean. Additionally, he served as a Counselor at the U.S. Department of State, where he advised on strategic policy issues.
