With 21 years of experience in management consulting, Heinz has earned a reputation as a seasoned expert in shaping and executing winning strategies, strengthening organizational capabilities, and navigating complex business issues. He is currently serving as the Energy Partner at Oliver Wyman, where he aims to further strengthen the firm's value proposition in the mining space.

Heinz's educational background is equally impressive, having studied Ph.D. in Structural Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine, Dipl.-Biol. in Biology with the highest distinction at the University of Regensburg and Vordiplom in Biology at RWTH Aachen University.

Prior to his current role at Oliver Wyman, Heinz served as the Global Head of Mining - Partner, and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group. He also worked as the Associate Director of Mining and Business Development at Mubadala Development Company before joining McKinsey & Company as the Global Head of Mining-Expert Partner. Heinz also spent two years as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he leveraged his vast experience to help clients interested in the mining and metals industry.
