Gene Crawford is a multi-talented professional, boasting over 20 years of experience in the design industry. Throughout his career, he has earned a degree in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, and founded various organizations such as SOCO and ConfSquad, as well as served as the President of AIGA South Carolina. In addition to his design accomplishments, Crawford is a CrossFit coach, a Martial Arts Instructor, and co-owns an online coaching business, Warrior Mindset, and Workhorse Fitness in downtown Columbia.

Crawford's design expertise has included overseeing the design and architecture of countless websites and applications through his business at Period Three, and as the longest running monthly columnist for Net Magazine. Crawford's experience in the fitness world has led him to co-own a gym, further showing his experience in business and entrepreneurship. As an active member of the design community, Crawford has created and produced various conferences, including UnmatchedStyle, RefreshColumbia, and the Converge conference.
