Rick Siger

Rick Siger is a renowned public sector, private sector, and non-profit leader whose expertise is focused on science, technology, and innovation policy. With a vast background that includes being a former White House, Department of Commerce, Carnegie Mellon University, and Obama '08 personnel, Rick is an expert in building coalitions and getting things done. Recently, he has held important roles such as Senior Advisor to the President for Economic Development and Community Engagement at Carnegie Mellon University and Head of University Engagement at Piazza. He has also worked as the Chief of Staff at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and Trip Director for the Vice President.

Rick studied Bachelor of Arts (BA), Political Science and Government at Columbia University in the City of New York. He has vast experience in directing strategic initiatives and engagements, operations, and advancing policy agendas.
