Peter Melick
Peter Melick is a highly skilled and experienced Simulation Lead at Ike, a company focused on developing and deploying self-driving trucks. Melick is a graduate of Cornell University where he studied Physics and Mechanical Engineering, and he holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He began his career in research, working as a Research Assistant at Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source before working as an intern at Draper Laboratory and Schlumberger PTC. After earning his degree, he joined Google as a Mechanical Engineer, working on hardware projects for both Street View and aerial photography. From there, he moved to Uber Advanced Technology Group where he spent three years developing simulation software for autonomous vehicles before joining Ike. Melick's expertise in mechatronics, engineering physics, and simulation software make him a key player in the self-driving vehicle industry.
