Maiko Van Der Meer is an accomplished international executive and consultant with extensive experience in the agri-food and specialty ingredients industry. She combines a strategic perspective with a hands-on mentality, making her a fast thinker and an inspirational leader. With a wide range of experiences in both FMCG and B-to-B, branded and private label, Van Der Meer has a proven track record of achieving exceptional results through business development, M&A, marketing, and sales initiatives. As a consultant and interim executive, she currently supports investors in their M&A activities in the international agri-food and specialty ingredients industry. Van Der Meer holds a master's degree in chemistry from Utrecht University and an MBA from the University of Twente. She also studied VWO at Ichthus College. Besides her professional activities, Van Der Meer has also served as a student mentor at StartHub Wageningen. She co-founded Novish B.V., was a board member of Milarex, served as chief commercial officer of Vion Food Group, and was the CEO of Marine Harvest Consumer Products at Marine Harvest Group.
