Christopher Piper has an impressive background in political science and organizational leadership. He studied at James Madison University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and received a Bachelor of Humanities and Science with a focus on Political Science. Christopher Piper is currently the Commissioner at Virginia Department of Elections, where he leads a team to administer election laws and ensure that all eligible voters are able to vote. In addition to his current position, Christopher Piper has previously held leadership roles including Deputy Director at Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission and Executive Director at Ethics and Virginia Conflict of Interests Advisory Council. Christopher Piper is also experienced with campaign finance, having worked as Campaign Finance Manager at State Board of Elections of Virginia and as a Political Compliance Consultant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates.
