Lisa Maki is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic partnership manager with a wealth of experience in the tech industry. She is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy at Microsoft's Health and Life Science unit, where she oversees key partnerships. Maki is well-known for co-founding PokitDok, an API platform that powered healthcare interoperability, and DokChain, a decentralized data exchange for healthcare administrative transactions and identity verification.
Maki started her career at Microsoft and held various roles, including Director of Program Management and Product Unit Manager for the incubation of International Disaster Response and Recovery products. After leaving Microsoft, Maki founded BeliefNetworks, a predictive analytics and semantic intelligence technology startup with customers such as Forbes.com and DailyCandy.com. BeliefNetworks was later acquired by Benefitfocus, where Maki served as Director of Design of Core Systems.
