Dwight Payne is an accomplished individual with a strong educational background and diverse professional experience. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and a B.A. Honors Laureate in Global Politics, Public Policy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dwight also attended The Harker School for his education. In terms of work experience, Dwight has had various roles in prestigious organizations. He served as a Summer Associate at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia in the Civil Rights Section. Additionally, he worked as a Legal Extern at the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform within the U.S. House of Representatives. Dwight also has experience as a Summer Law Clerk at the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in the United States Senate and as a Legislative Intern at the Office of the Attorney General of Iowa. Furthermore, he has worked as an Intern at the California Appellate Project, a Community Organizer at Innovate Public Schools, a Political Organizer for the Yes on 62 Campaign to End California's Death Penalty, and as a Co-Director at the Carolina United Diversity Program.
