Duy Nguyen

Duy Nguyen is a highly skilled engineer with a diverse background that spans across Europe and Japan. He holds an M.S. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering magna cum laude from the University of Brussels. His passion for engineering led him to work as a Research Intern in the Smart Systems and Energy Technology Division of the Interuniversity Micro-Electronics Centre (IMEC) in Leuven, Belgium, where he developed a high-throughput, near-optimal MIMO detection scheme for parallel programmable architectures. His interest in exploring new cultures and technologies led him to participate in the Japanese Vulcanus program, where he carried out experimental research and development at NTT Communication Science Laboratories, Atsugi-shi, Japan, on a novel acoustic beamforming system for visible light communication technology applications.

Upon returning to Europe, Duy joined MathWorks, where he initially served as an Application Support Engineer and is now a Senior Training Engineer. He is responsible for delivering top-notch technical training for companies in the automotive and aerospace and defense industries in the EMEA region. Duy's training portfolio is constantly expanding and covers a wide array of topics such as programming techniques in MATLAB, Model-Based Design, automatic code generation with Simulink and Simulink Coder, event-based modeling with Stateflow, and multidomain physical modeling with Simscape.
