Dusty Walker

Dusty R. Walker, Jr. is a FAA DER and the Founding Member of Conscious Systems Engineering, LLC, a firm specializing in Aircraft Engineering Design Services.

His long-term goal is to provide Engineering Design and Certification Services in the Aerospace, Architecture, and Construction Industries with a focus on Electrical Systems Design and Integration.

Dusty's specialties include compliance with SAE AS50881, 14 CFR Part 25-Subpart H: EWIS Requirements, Boeing SWPM Ch 20, and Airbus ESPM Ch 20 Practices, Wire and Cable Harnessing, and Electrical Liaison Engineering Support.

He offers DER Approval Services on Part 25 Transport Category Aircraft and is proficient in software such as AUTOCAD, LCABLE, and VISIO, with a desire to learn CATIA and Mentor Graphics CHS.

Dusty is an active member of the Tennessee State University National & Engineering Alumni Association, having served as the Former Vice President of the Tennessee State Univ. Engineering Alumni Association (TSUEAA) from 2013 to 2015, and as an Advisory Board Member of the TSU Aeronautical & Industrial Technology Dept. and STEM News Chronicle.

With a vast array of experiences in various roles, Dusty has worked as an Independent Contractor, FAA Consultant DER, Electrical Engineer, Aircraft Engineer, Wiring Design Engineer, Engineering Instructor, Avionics Engineer, and more at companies like Raytheon Technologies, Boeing, Gulfstream Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, AAR Engineering Services, FedEx Express, L-3 Communications Integrated Systems, BAE Systems, and The Boeing Company.
