Dustin Schau

Dustin Schau is an experienced Energy Program Engineer at Michaels Energy, with a strong background in engineering. With a focus on new construction design assistance and retrocommissioning for commercial and industrial clients, Dustin excels in site investigation, metering equipment deployment, data analysis, and implementation verification. He goes beyond retrocommissioning by offering functional performance testing, employee training, and utility billing analysis post-implementation to ensure energy savings goals are achieved.

In terms of education, Dustin holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Systems Engineering, both from Iowa State University. Additionally, he has studied Business and Spanish at Universidad Americana (UAM) and is an alumnus of Maquoketa High School.
