Dustin Hillard is the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at eSentire, where he leads the technology team to integrate security analyst expertise with automation to optimize threat detection and remediation. Hillard's philosophy of using machine learning to solve complicated problems has led to eSentire's evolution of MDR, providing visibility and automating threat detection to eliminate false positives. Prior to eSentire, he was the CTO at Versive, a security-focused AI company, which was recognized as one of the most promising privately-held artificial intelligence companies on CB Insights' prestigious AI 100 list for two consecutive years. Hillard also served as a Senior Scientist at Microsoft and Scientist at Yahoo!. He also worked as a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard University and a Research Assistant at the University of Washington. Hillard holds a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
