Duncan Walker '13 is an accomplished entrepreneur and the current Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Boston College's Edmund H. Shea Center for Entrepreneurship. He co-founded the consumer data startup Jebbit and serves as its Vice President of Research and Development.12
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Walker holds weekly office hours at the Shea Center where he mentors BC students on starting and growing their own businesses.1 He aims to expand the university's network of alumni entrepreneurs to accelerate the growth of student startups.1
Walker's entrepreneurial journey began during his junior year at BC when he taught himself to code to build a website for a friend's menswear startup.1 This led to him co-founding Jebbit with classmate Tom Coburn '13.12
After graduating with a B.S. in Management in 2013, Walker continued growing Jebbit, which now employs 55 people and is headquartered in Boston's Innovation District.1 He is also a Managing Director at SSC Venture Partners, a startup accelerator and venture fund created by BC alumni to support student entrepreneurs.12
In addition to his roles at Jebbit and SSC Venture Partners, Walker serves as a fractional CTO and helps entrepreneurs with both technical and non-technical goals.23 He has a DepHE in Business Finance (Hons) from Durham University in the UK and his LinkedIn username is duncangwalker.4
