Dumase Shawa

Dumase Shawa is a civic educationist and former English lecturer with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

He has proven to be results-oriented, a team player and leader with additional attributes.

Dumase has showcased exceptional organizational and research skills through project management and strategic planning.

His educational background includes a MA in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, a preparatory masters program in International/Global Studies from Vesalius College, and a Bachelor of Arts with Education in Civic Education and English from the University of Zambia.

Previously, Dumase has worked in various capacities such as a Customs Officer at Zambia Revenue Authority, Intern at the National Assembly of Zambia, and Data Analyst at USAID - Conservation International.

He has also interned at the World Customs Organization, served as a lecturer and data analyst as well as English lecturer at different institutions, and worked as a data management officer at CHRESO MINISTRIES.

Dumase Shawa is keen on pursuing a career in development and social work to leverage his skills and knowledge in civic education.
