DuFresne is also a seasoned consultant with years of experience advising companies on a wide range of issues, including business development, marketing, and operations. He currently serves as the General Partner at Alignment Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage healthcare companies.

DuFresne received a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Harvard University.
