Duane Hewitt

Duane Hewitt is a seasoned project scientist with over 15 years of experience in diverse research and development environments. He has a serial track record of successful execution and innovation, especially in cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, and biologics drug development. Hewitt's experience has yielded both breadth and depth in the field of cancer biology, where he has extensive experience with animal models in breast cancer and inflammatory diseases. Over the years, Hewitt has synthesized scientific literature into innovative and pragmatic strategies leading to publications and patent applications at each industry employer. As a Principal at DNA Digital, he has continued to drive innovation in all aspects of business, from cost savings to new or improved processes, organizational structure, and overall strategy.<br><br>

Hewitt boasts of highly developed communication, leadership, and project management skills, which have enabled him to interface effectively in multidisciplinary team environments, brokering communication between departments, consultants, management, investors, and recommending and executing appropriate courses of action. Before he joined DNA Digital, Hewitt served as Director of Product Development at Apollonia Health Inc. and Director, Project Management at Viron Therapeutics.
