Dries Faems

Dries Faems is a renowned professor and expert in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and technological transformation. With a PhD in Alliance and Innovation Management from KU Leuven, he has held academic positions at top universities such as WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, LUISS Business School, and the University of Groningen. He has also served as a board member at PDMA.NL and as the General Editor of the Journal of Management Studies.

During his time at the University of Groningen, he directed the Innovation & Organization Research Program, where he focused on studying the nature and determinants of innovation, organization of innovation, and the management of innovation. He has published numerous articles and papers on topics such as open innovation, interorganizational collaboration, and knowledge management, and is widely recognized as an expert in his field.

Faems currently serves as a full professor for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technological Transformation at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. He is also a visiting professor at several universities and a former associate editor of the Journal of Management Studies.
