Drew Bell

Drew Bell is a versatile hardware product design specialist with a strong inclination towards mechatronics. Currently serving as a Research Engineer at Amber Agriculture, Drew's expertise spans various domains such as product design, firmware development, research and development, manufacturing, product certification, and hardware deployment. He actively contributes to scaling one of the world's pioneering free-flowing grain sensor systems at Amber Agriculture. Prior to his role at Amber, Drew completed his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. During his time at Stanford, he also served as a Teaching Assistant for the ME218 Smart Product Design course and conducted research on perching quadrotors at the renowned Stanford Biomimetics and Dexterous Manipulation Lab. Drew finds immense satisfaction in the synthesis of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering disciplines.
