    Founder & President, SiteCare

Drew Barton, the founder of SiteCare, is a dedicated individual driven by a passion for web development. Balancing an overnight role at CNN.com and freelancing in the early 2000s, he cultivated long-lasting relationships with clients who are integral members of SiteCare's community today.

SiteCare, previously known as Southern Web Group, started its journey in a humble spare bedroom, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset that propelled it to larger office spaces. This progression fostered team collaboration, leading to exponential growth.

In 2018, Drew Barton made a strategic decision to shift to a fully remote work setup, embracing global talent and ensuring operational flexibility. This transformation enabled SiteCare to smoothly navigate the challenges of the pandemic, evolving into a distributed workforce model.

A key driver of SiteCare's expansion has been the strategic acquisitions it has undertaken. Over the last decade, the company has acquired five firms, namely WP Site Care, Web Considerations, Firing Squad, Maintainn, and Smarter Searches.

Currently, SiteCare focuses on optimizing WordPress websites using a proprietary scoring system that identifies and addresses common issues. Their suite of specialized services is designed to enhance the performance of numerous WordPress sites worldwide.

Drew Barton pursued his Bachelor's Degree at Emory University and has held significant roles in various organizations, including Managing Broker at ATL Realty, President at SiteCare, Co-Founder at Serendipity Antiques & Interiors, Design Project Manager at Web.com, and Webmaster at CNN.com.
