Sivapalan Vivekarajah

Dr. Sivapalan Vivekarajah is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in venture capital, law, and business administration.

He holds a PhD in Venture Capital focusing on South East Asia from The University of Edinburgh, an LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of London, and an MBA with Distinction in Business Administration from the University of Hull.

Dr. Vivekarajah is a Fellow of the Institute for Company Secretarial Practice and Governance, which represents the highest level of membership at The Chartered Governance Institute.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vivekarajah has been involved in various organizations where he has held key positions such as Adjunct Professor at Sunway University, Senior Partner & Co-Founder at ScaleUp Malaysia Accelerator, and Immediate Past President & Current Council Member at the Malaysian Business Angel Network.

He has also served as Co-Founder & Chief Investor at Proficeo Ventures Sdn Bhd, Co-Founder & Chief Evangelist at Proficeo Consultants Sdn Bhd, and Managing Principal at Ventura Partners Sdn Bhd.

Dr. Vivekarajah's contributions extend to his involvement as a Council Member in prestigious institutions like the Malaysian Innovation & Policy Council (MIPC) under MDEC, Malaysian Venture Capital and Private Equity Development Council (MVCDC), and as the Chairman of the Ministerial Task Force on Technopreneur Funding at the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment, and Climate Change (MESTECC).

His expertise has been recognized through roles such as Former Founder & First President of TeAM, Advisor at Technopreneurs Association of Malaysia (TeAM), and CEO positions at 3Capital.com and Nipponeka Industries.

With a rich history in leadership and entrepreneurship, Dr. Vivekarajah has significantly contributed to the growth and development of the venture capital and private equity landscape in Malaysia.
