Dr. S. Manian Ramkumar is an accomplished academic professional with a strong background in teaching, research, higher education management, and industry engagement.
He holds a Ph.D. in System Science and Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University, a ME in Manufacturing Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University.
Dr. Ramkumar has held various key positions in academic and industry organizations, including serving as the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology.
His past roles include Lead Instructor for conducting workshops in Surface Mount Electronics Packaging for Industry at IPC and SMTA, Interim Dean at the College of Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology, Professor and Department Chair in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology, Director of the Center for Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly, and also as a Professor in the Department of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology.
