Dr. Roger Rihmland

Dr. Roger Rihmland is a seasoned professional with a strong background in project financing, international trade, and corporate finance.

His educational journey includes a PhD in Project Financing and International Trade from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), an M.Sc. in Finance specializing in Corporate Finance from the University of Leicester, and a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration focusing on Banking, Financial Reporting, and International Management from the University of Münster.

Dr. Rihmland further expanded his expertise with an MBA in Financial Services from Bangor University and a Bankkaufmann/IHK in Banking from the Duesseldorf School of Vocational Training.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rihmland held various key positions in renowned organizations. He served as the Co-Lead Market Segment for Emerging Entities/Start-ups ecosystem at BDO Germany, Partner for Corporate Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions at BDO Germany, and Head of Financial Services Mergers & Acquisitions at BDO Germany.

He also contributed his knowledge and skills as the Head of Financial Institutions/FinTech Mergers and Acquisitions in Frankfurt at EY, while being an active Member of the Supervisory Board at Belarusian Bank for Small Business and the Board of Administrators at ProCredit Bank.

Prior to these roles, Dr. Rihmland held significant positions such as Divisional Head CEE Corporate Office at Commerzbank AG, Head of Business Development at comdirect bank AG, and Executive Director for Group Mergers & Acquisitions at WestLB AG, focusing on Retail Bank Foundation.

His expertise extends to his role as Vice President in the Department of Corporate Development at Deutsche Bank, showcasing his diverse and extensive professional experience in the financial sector.
