    With a Bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Rowan University, Dr. Bompensa-Zimmerman continued her academic journey by obtaining a Master's degree in Disaster Medicine and Management from Philadelphia University while achieving a remarkable GPA of 3.85. She further pursued a Doctorate in Health Psychology at Northcentral University.

    Dr. Bompensa-Zimmerman's career includes roles such as High School Teacher in Health and Physical Education, Director of Fitness and Wellness at Philadelphia University, and various positions at GlobalTranz, where she served as the Director, Health Program Manager, and Assistant General Manager. She also contributed as a Board Member at the Foster Care Review Board.

    Her passion for community service is evident through her involvement as the Former Councilwoman (Dem) at Morrisville Borough, Pennsylvania, and her role as a Disaster Services Responder/Instructor at the Lower Bucks County American Red Cross. She has also volunteered with the American Red Cross as a Disaster responder in Bristol Twp., Bucks County, PA.

    Apart from academia and work, Dr. Bompensa-Zimmerman has been committed to promoting health and fitness. She served as the Fitness Program Manager for the Health Development Division of TSI at Georgetown University Law Sports & Fitness Center and as the GM of Rider University Student Recreation Center at Rider University.

    In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Bompensa-Zimmerman has engaged with academic and community organizations in various capacities. She was a Faculty Advisor at Philadelphia University for Colleges Against Cancer, a Judicial Officer at PhilaU, and a Director at Philadelphia University. Her dedication to education and disaster management is evident through her Capstone Project during her Master's program, focusing on EOP training for borough officials.
