Dr. Oyamakin pursued his academic journey at the prestigious University of Ibadan, where he obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics with a specialization in Biostatistics. Prior to his doctoral studies, he also completed a Master's degree in Statistics, focusing on Econometrics, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Statistics.

Having a profound interest in academia, Dr. Oyamakin serves as a lecturer at the Department of Statistics at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He imparts his knowledge and expertise to students, guiding them in their educational pursuits and fostering a culture of learning.

Before joining the academic sector, Dr. Oyamakin held the position of Research Officer I at the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN) in Ibadan. This experience provided him with valuable insights into conducting research and contributing to the advancement of the field.
