Manisha Acharya

Dr. Manisha Acharya is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background spanning over nearly two decades in various sectors such as research, corporate, innovation management, and entrepreneurship.

She currently holds the position of CEO at the Centre for Innovation and Incubation (CII) at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where she oversees innovative programs and initiatives.

As the founder of WEneurs Forum, a women start-up forum, Dr. Acharya is dedicated to supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs in the startup ecosystem.

Previously, she served as the CEO of Indigram Labs Foundation, one of the largest Agri-Tech Business Incubators in India, supported by prestigious government bodies and recognized as the best emerging TBI in 2019.

Dr. Acharya transitioned from the corporate sector to academia, focusing on managing Science & Technology innovation by leading the Tech Business Incubator at KIIT University for over five years.

She is a British Chevening CRISP Fellow from the University of Oxford, with a strong educational background including a PhD in Botany from Lucknow University and a Chevening Research, Science, and Innovation Leadership Fellowship.

Dr. Manisha Acharya is actively involved in various advisory boards and mentoring programs, recognized as a certified Master Trainer by 'Innompics' and a Mentor by 'Mentors on Road' of Startup India.

Her contributions to the field of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Incubation are evident through numerous publications in international journals, media outlets, and her speaking engagements at national and international forums.

Recognized for her achievements and leadership, Dr. Acharya has received prestigious awards such as the Best CEO under the Incubator category by ICFA and the 'Miss Innovation Award' in the World Innompics Games 2021.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, she has represented India on various platforms globally, including a delegation to Silicon Valley and a cross-learning program at Taiwan supported by different organizations.
