K.S. Bhatia

Dr. K.S. Bhatia is a visionary entrepreneur known for building India's largest organized chain of farm equipments under Pumpkart. Founded in 2014, Pumpkart started as a B2C portal focusing on water pumps and has since expanded by opening a franchise chain of farm equipments in rural areas.

Pumpkart gained global recognition when Google CEO Sundar Pichai highlighted its success story during a speech at the 'Digital India' dinner for top tech CEOs in San Jose, California.

With a goal to establish over 500 stores across the country by 2022, Pumpkart has set out to become the largest chain of farm equipments in India.

Dr. Bhatia's entrepreneurial journey has been decorated with numerous awards and recognitions, including accolades from Google India, Times Group, and the Rural Marketing Association of India, among others.

He has also been recognized internationally, with Pumpkart being the first startup to represent India at the United Nations. Dr. Bhatia has been a prominent figure in various business forums and was listed among the Super 30 Companies from Asia in 2018.

In terms of education, Dr. K.S. Bhatia holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IMT Ghaziabad, a Doctorate in Global Business Management from Sorbonne University, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore University.

He also pursued his 10+2 education in Non-Medical from DAV College, Amritsar, and his earlier education at Guru Harkishan Public School in Amritsar.
