Dr. Kenton Lewis, MBE, is a highly experienced and qualified professional in the fields of training, facilitation, mediation, and executive coaching. He is the founder of Kenton Lewis Associates.
Prior to his consultancy work, Dr. Lewis dedicated 18 years to higher education administration, with a focus on management, leadership, staff development, stakeholder management, community engagement, organizational development, and research & evaluation.
He holds prestigious fellowships with the AUA, CMI, RSA, and Principal Fellowship of the HEA. Additionally, Dr. Lewis is a founding member, Senior Researcher, and Fellow at The Bridge Group, a social mobility policy association charity.
With a background in senior and strategic roles at esteemed institutions like the University of Bristol, University of Oxford, St George's University of London, and the Higher Education Academy, Dr. Lewis is well-versed in advising senior staff UK-wide on strategic teaching and learning leadership.
His expertise lies in professional staff development and social mobility, further emphasized by his doctoral research on organizational belonging and professional identity.
Dr. Kenton Lewis is a recipient of numerous national and international awards for educational innovation, such as the e-Learning Age Awards, the Lord Mayor of London Dragon Award, and the Guardian Public Service Award. His outstanding contributions to Higher Education were recognized with an MBE in the 2014 New Year Honours.
He is also a founding member of 4pf.co.uk, a collective of education consultants specializing in cross-sector collaborations within UK higher education.
In addition to his educational qualifications, Dr. Lewis has undergone training in workplace mediation, executive coaching, communication management, public relations, counseling, British Sign Language, and social sciences.
Currently, Dr. Kenton Lewis serves as the Director and Principal Consultant at Kenton Lewis Associates and previously held the position of Lead Researcher and Fellow at The Bridge Group. He also contributes to the Ministry of Justice as a Lay Observer, overseeing the welfare and access to justice of individuals in court custody.
