Joachim Dias

Dr. Joachim Dias is a highly skilled professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge. He also holds a Master's degree with Distinction in Materials Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Materials Engineering with a first-class honor from Imperial College London.

Joachim Dias is a dedicated individual with a keen interest in sustainable development, specializing in helping clients achieve their decarbonisation goals. With expertise in project management, the development of techno-economic models in Python, and crafting decarbonisation strategies, he has collaborated with prestigious organizations such as the National Grid and BP.

Throughout his career, Joachim Dias has held various roles including Senior Consultant and former Consultant at Element Energy. He has also served as a Senior Adviser at Cambridgeshire County Council. His academic background includes being an i-Team researcher focusing on smart groundwater monitoring at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge. Additionally, he has contributed as an Undergraduate Supervisor for Part IA Materials Science at the University of Cambridge.

Joachim Dias has a rich research background, having been a Research Intern in 2-dimensional materials at the National University of Singapore and a Research Intern in microfluidics at CNRS.
