Dr Jackie Chimhanzi

Dr. Jackie Chimhanzi is a seasoned strategist with a diverse background in academia and practical strategy, accumulating over 20 years of experience in the field.

Passionate about Africa, Jackie is committed to driving positive change and development across the continent during her lifetime. She has been recognized for her influential contributions, being named one of the 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa by Forbes Africa magazine in 2012, and featuring on prestigious lists like the '100 Most Reputable Africans' in 2020 and '100 Most Influential African Women' in 2019.

Currently, Dr. Jackie Chimhanzi serves as the CEO of the African Leadership Institute, overseeing initiatives such as the Archbishop Tutu Leadership Fellowship. She also holds non-executive board positions, including being a board member and Audit and Risk Committee member at AdvTech Group and a board member at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe.

Dr. Chimhanzi's involvement extends globally as she is on the global board of the ONE Campaign and has previously held positions such as a member of the World Economic Forum's Africa Regional Strategy Group.

Her educational background includes a diverse array of studies ranging from Archbishop Tutu Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford to BSc (Hons), MBA, and PhD in Strategic Marketing from Cardiff University. She has also studied in institutions in Paris and Ethiopia, demonstrating a well-rounded academic journey.

Throughout her career, Dr. Chimhanzi has been associated with various notable organizations, serving roles such as a lecturer/researcher in Strategic Marketing at Aberystwyth University, a Strategist at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa, and a Lead in Africa Investments at Deloitte Consulting, among others.
