Ganapathi Balasubramanian

Dr. Ganapathi Prabhu Sai Balasubramanian is a highly skilled scientist and engineer with expertise in materials science and engineering. He possesses over 7-8 years of experience in several materials analysis techniques, including in-situ TEM, and has experience in semiconductor device fabrication. Dr. Balasubramanian is a former Technology Manager at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and has also worked as a Visiting Scholar at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has collaborated with scientists in the USA and Europe and is a member of the Materials Research Society and the European Microscopy Society. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Microscopical Society.

Dr. Balasubramanian holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. He completed his postdoctoral research at the DTU-Technical University of Denmark and has prior research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and as a Summer Research Intern at the Defense Institute of Advanced Technology and the Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research.
