Dr. Noboa has held several key positions in prestigious organizations, such as BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar Ecuador, University of Hamburg, and World Future Council, where he has contributed as a Strategic Sustainability Advisor, Associate Professor, Scientific Advisor, and Lead Consultant in various climate and energy-related projects.

His expertise extends to deep decarbonization pathways, sustainability transition management, climate action, and energy transition, as evidenced by his roles at organizations like Inter-American Development Bank, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, and GFA Consulting Group GmbH.

With a rich professional history, Dr. Noboa has also served in significant governmental and regional roles, including as Head of Climate and Energy Transition in the Government of Ecuador, TEC Expert Member representing Latin America and the Caribbean at UNFCCC, and Regional Coordinator for Renewable Energy & Climate Action at the Latin American Energy Organization.
