He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
In addition to his science background, Dr. Close also pursued education in the field of technology, obtaining an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast.
