Dr. Alexander Gruentzig is a distinguished professional recognized for his expertise in materials science, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
With a Master of Science (M.S.) in Materials Science & Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, and additional M.S. degrees in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Gruentzig possesses a strong academic background in various engineering disciplines.
Dr. Gruentzig has held key roles in esteemed organizations, including being a U.S. Army XTechSearch 6 winner at xTech, the CTO and Co-Founder of Legionarius, and a top 500 finalist at the Hello Tomorrow Nonprofit in 2017. Moreover, he was a finalist at MassChallenge in the same year.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Gruentzig enriched his professional experience as a Management Consultant at A.T. Kearney and as a Project Manager and Postdoctoral Researcher at SANA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he served as a Project Manager and Lead Coordinator in Europe at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
