Douglas Oliver

Douglas Oliver is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in external affairs, community investment, government relations, issues advocacy, and crisis management.

His diverse professional background spans corporate, agency, government, social service, and non-profit sectors.

Currently, Douglas serves as the Vice President of Communications at PECO, an Exelon Company, where he leverages his expertise in brand and reputation management, strategic planning, media relations, crisis communication, community partnerships and investment, government affairs, internal communication, and advertising campaign development.

Previously, he held key positions such as Vice President of External Affairs at Philadelphia Gas Works, Press Secretary for the City of Philadelphia, and Director of Communication for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW).

In 2015, Douglas ran as a candidate for Mayor of Philadelphia, demonstrating his commitment to public service and community leadership.

His educational background includes an Executive M.B.A. from St. Joseph's University, an M.A. in Professional Communication from La Salle University, and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Lock Haven University.
