Douglas Gayeton
Chief Investigator at The Lexicon
Douglas Gayeton is a highly experienced creative professional with a diverse background in film, writing, photography, and food systems. He holds a BA from UC San Diego in writing and theater, and is currently an MFA candidate in cinema at the University of Southern California. Gayeton has held various leadership roles throughout his career, such as co-founder and chief investigator at The Lexicon, creative director at Studio 100 media, and co-owner of LaLoo's Goat Milk Ice Cream.
Gayeton is currently the co-founder and executive director at Green Brown Blue, a nonprofit organization that aims to connect people with the food they eat, the land on which it's grown, and the farmers who produce it. He is also a former food systems lead at Foodicons and a writer and photographer for "LOCAL: The New Face of Food and Farming in America" and "SLOW: Life in a Tuscan Town".
Throughout his career, Gayeton has also been involved in film and digital media production, with creative roles at HBO, MTV, and Napster, among others. With his wide-ranging expertise, Douglas Gayeton is a thought leader in the areas of sustainable food systems, community building, and creative media.
