Douglas Dunsavage is the North Texas Community Advocacy Director for the American Heart Association (AHA).1 He has worked for the AHA in various capacities since returning to Dallas in 2004, including roles as a Government Relations Director, Director of Policy Campaigns in the SouthWest Affiliate, and National State Advocacy Consultant.1
In his current role, Douglas focuses on furthering AHA public policy in the North Texas Region.1 He is passionate about implementing community-facing programs, advocating for sustainable policy solutions, and ensuring all North Texans have the ability to live longer, healthier lives.1
Outside of work, Douglas is an avid angler, golfer, and sports fan. He resides in East Dallas with his wife, Laura, and their two children, Kemp and Hillam.1
