Douglas Creager

Douglas Creager is an accomplished principal-level software engineer with a strong background in computer science research, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

He possesses a diverse skill set that encompasses programming language design and implementation, formal methods, static analysis, distributed systems, and network analysis.

Douglas pursued his education at the prestigious University of Oxford, where he completed a DPhil in Computing, and at the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he achieved an MEng in Computer Science and an SB in Computer Science.

Throughout his career, Douglas has held various significant roles at top-tier organizations, including serving as a Staff Software Engineer and later as a Staff Software Engineering Manager at GitHub, Software Engineer at Google, VP of Engineering at RedJack, and Internal Consultant at Ab Initio.

Furthermore, he founded Walland Heavy Research and has also shared his expertise as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford and as a Visiting Scholar at MIT.
