Douglas Brown

Douglas Brown is the Vice President and Head of Europe at Flexport, a position he has held since January 2022. Prior to this role, he served as the General Manager for China at Flexport, based in Hong Kong, for three years. His appointment to lead the European operations followed his successful tenure in Asia, where he played a significant role in expanding the company’s presence in the region.145

Brown has extensive experience in the logistics sector, having worked for over 17 years with leading logistics companies such as Maersk and Panalpina World Transport. His expertise encompasses various aspects of logistics and supply chain management, making him a key figure in Flexport's strategic operations in Europe.67

He holds a degree from Shanghai Foreign Language University and is based in the Netherlands.3 Brown emphasizes Flexport's innovative value proposition, which he believes is transformative not only in North America but also across European markets.2
