Doug Reed

Doug Reed is an innovative brand and team leader, highly experienced in strategic growth development for global brands. His passion for developing amazing products, stories, and experiences drives his career in brand leadership at Columbia Sportswear Company. Doug has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with Honors Distinction, and graduated from the University of Arizona.

His impressive background includes a leadership role as SR. Director, Regional Merchandising, International Apparel for Columbia Sportswear Company, preceded by the position of Director, Regional Merchandising, Asia Pacific Footwear for the same company. Prior to working with Columbia Sportswear, Doug led his company, Doug Reed, Inc., as a Global Sports Industry Professional and a Global Business and Brand Builder.

Over the years, he has held positions of General Manager/SVP of Men’s Training at Under Armour, Vice President/GCAL for Nike Global Football Apparel and Global Director for Nike Golf Apparel, Footwear & Accessories, among others. His extensive experience in sports performance apparel, sport industry, and brand building, to name a few, makes Doug a professional equipped with long-standing expertise and a keen interest in developing global brands.
